vIn this article there are discussion on about the challenges faced by people lives in rural area, study is in rural life of America.
(a). Rural Health:  Rural areas often faced problems in lacking of Hospitals and medical clinic. The National Rural Health Association (2011), says that only 1/10th of the total physician work in rural areas. A patient who needs heart bypass surgery care is likely to have travel to an urban hospital far away.
The problem begins when a rural cancer patient who needs chemotherapy in Hospital have to travel three hours in each direction to receive treatment.
(b). Rural Schools and Education : First, rural areas have been losing population due to educational centers far from rural areas and they shifted their families and hence so.
Second, Rural population are generally older than Urban population, which comes again in terms of less per capita income to generate less revenue from rural areas and again affected the education system in rural areas.
Third, rural families lives relatively far from public school, resulted in expenses for their children in transportation charge etc.
(c). Rural Poverty:  rural poverty in thought to be more persistent than urban poverty because factors include is more in rural areas such as, out migration of young, highly skilled workers, etc, they locate themselves near urban areas.
(d).  Domestic violence:  most of the victims of domestic violence is women because often they find it difficult to get help or complains about it because after this, they have no where to go, they cannot leave such situation which makes it difficult to help from police or any other social welfare program for such things author called it “Dangerous Exit”.

EKISTICS (An Understanding as Urban Planner)

• The term Ekistics was coined by Greek architect and urban planner Konstantinos Apostolos Doxiadis in 1942. • Applies to the science of human settlements . • Includes regional, city, community planning and dwelling design. EcoVillage at Ithaca, New York

Overview: Initiated in 1991 Location:2.5 miles from downtown Ithaca, NewYork , USA. Total land: 175 acres. 50 acres land for conservation.
